Fried Kanom Pia: Tui Tor Or

If you love sweets in Bangkok, you’re in luck with many tasty Thai desserts waiting to delight you.

Some of the best traditional dessert vendors are tucked away in small alleys, just waiting to be found.

Fried Kanom Pia: Tui Tor Or

Kanom Pia is a traditional Chinese pastry stuffed with nuts and sesame. This vendor has a creative twist: she fries it on a flat pan to make it extra crispy and hot when eaten.

You can pair it with hot drinks like tea or coffee in the morning. She only sells it at Trok Mor Morning Market on Tuesdays. However, if you’re eager to try it, you can find her selling it permanently at Or Tor Kor Market.

Price: 80-100 Baht
